Our God’s Brother (The Story of St. Albert Chunielowski)
October 22, 2025 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Our God’s Brother (The Story of St. Albert Chmielowski) is a biographical drama directed by Krzysztof Zanussi, adapted from a play by Karol Wojtyła (later Pope John Paul II). The film tells the story of St. Albert Chmielowski, a Polish painter who abandoned a promising artistic career to dedicate his life to helping the poor and marginalized. Through his transformation, he became a Franciscan friar and later a saint, embodying the struggle between artistic ambition, faith, and selfless service.
It’s a reflective work that explores themes of vocation, sacrifice, and the search for spiritual meaning.
