Enjoy performances by the LHS Advanced Jazz Ensemble, directed by Timothy Martin, featuring pieces like Emancipation Blues by Oliver Nelson and Fables of Faubus by Charles Mingus. The LHS Vocal Jazz Ensemble, directed by Robert Pacillo, will perform classics such as Duke Ellington’s Do Nothin’ Till You Hear From Me.
Celebrate the legacy of friendship between Revolutionary War heroes Tadeusz Kosciuszko and Agrippa Hull in a moving portrayal by Charles Everhart and Carlton Van Pyrz. Experience the inspiring story of Madam C.J. Walker, brought to life by Mary Craig.
The evening concludes with a powerful performance by Joyce Carolyn & Ensemble (Buffalo’s First Lady of Song), featuring beloved songs like Precious Lord and We Shall Overcome.
