Biesiada Banquet and Polish Constitution Day Celebration
Join the Polish Arts Club of Buffalo for its annual Biesiada Banquet on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at the scenic Tewksbury Lodge and Banquet Hall in Buffalo River Fest Park. This cherished tradition celebrates Polish culture, community, and fellowship while honoring individuals who have made outstanding contributions to Polonia.
This year, the Club proudly recognizes Andy Gołębiowski, longtime host of the Polish American Radio Program on WEBR, for his dedication to promoting Polish heritage through music, storytelling, and cultural programming that connects audiences locally and around the world.
Set against the beautiful waterfront backdrop of Buffalo River Fest Park, featuring a boardwalk, gardens, and skyline views, the evening will begin with guest arrival at 4:00 PM, followed by a buffet dinner at 5:00 PM. The program will include the beloved “roast-and-toast” tradition, where guests are invited to share personal stories and tributes honoring this year’s recipient.
A biesiada, meaning a festive Polish gathering, is centered on camaraderie, celebration, and shared heritage. This year’s event holds special significance as it coincides with Polish Constitution Day (Święto Konstytucji 3 Maja) a historic national holiday commemorating the 1791 Constitution, a symbol of Polish pride and sovereignty.
